    Unfair Termination

So were fired or did they scare you and force you to quit on your own. Did you fill out a voluntary termination form? Did they have your pay out ready for the hours you had worked??

Backroom wise, get rid of the aisles of open stock backstock for small/med sized departments (hba, stationary, cosmetics), have a shit ton more Uboats for all these departments. Teams (such as E2E) work through these vehicles on certain days (i.e., A block Mondays (or certain aisles each day of...

Archived An SOS Call - advice, encouragement, hard truths all welcome

I didn't fail. I felt I couldn't succeed anywhere else besides Target (I guess I was brainwashed into thinking this was the Best Company Ever), and was afraid to move on from Target. Sorry if that came off wrong. My point is if you have the drive to succeed, you can do it anywhere, don't feel...

Archived An SOS Call - advice, encouragement, hard truths all welcome

There is so much more to offer than Target. Believe me, I spent way too long there and felt I wouldn't succeed in anything else because I was the same as you feeling unappreciated, working long hours, cross trained in everything yet still felt like an outcast. If you can honestly look in the...

Looks like a Gordman's upgrade. Gonna suck to keep all those tables full. The grocery area looks way too upscale for what Target carries.

    Archived EIT (ETL-Log)

Welcome. Sounds like typical Target "training". Like those above you said, the hardest you will ever see ETLs work is when there is a known visit. My advice to you is to set expectations early with your peers. Sadly, its just like high school and you might have to play the...

Archived Why does Target seem to struggle to make ends meet. Especially with having enough employee

Payroll must be met monthly. I've seen multiple stores in our district struggle, and since we are exceeding payroll we support out for a week over there. Or vice versa, last 4th qtr, our store struggle and we got some support from other stores. I'm sure this is to please our DTLs obligations...

Archived Why does Target seem to struggle to make ends meet. Especially with having enough employee

Agreed, you will never see an ETL work harder or sweat it out when they hear a visit is coming. Unless they have their shit together and are known to kick ass all the time. Rare. Its quite comical actually when the team members they don't like suddenly become someone they have to depend on...

Archived Wage increases to $15 hour!!

This is just to get good PR, $15/hr by 2020 will be a given at most big chain retail jobs. And with inflation, cost of living etc., etc..

Archived New Flow Team Member Question

Just remember to look at the actual tile on the floor. Where you see a red line on the tile, should always the odd endcap ex. A39(0). Then count the sections within the aisle from redline endcap. For example, if it is A39(6)3-4-6, then you would count 6 4ft. sections and then from there, an...
