Anyone been told they aren’t allowing Covid related LOA extensions anymore? I heard yesterday that if you call the number to extend, they tell you they can no longer approve it for you, even if you haven’t reached your 120 day mark, and to call your stores HR since only they can approve it now...

I don’t think that’s right at all . I get the not giving names but department?... that wouldn’t be an issue if I had any say so. I’m a nobody on the Target totem pole tho so there’s that!! Haha

I know names can’t be given of team members who have tested positive but what is official protocol from corporate as to what can be told? Is management allowed to let us know if we have been in direct contact with the person that tested positive? I feel like a text message going out letting...

A co worker has told me they are depressed and suicidal. Doesn’t Target offer its employees free help for mental healthy issues? Can someone provide me with the info so I can pass it along? Please and thank you.

I’m with you on not understanding. This team lead I feel had a legitimate reason to take the LOA and actually prolly waited longer than they should have under the circumstances. I can’t see them replacing her.... time will tell I guess but I do hope it’s not true that they are looking to...

YES! A LOT of people do that at my store. Then again, I kinda have my nose in someone elses business here too, BUT mine is with real concern and good intentions.... so VERY different.

I know it’s not my concern but at the same time, I don’t like seeing people done dirty so I would consider bringing it to this person attention if there was a possibility things could go down completely differently than this person expects.

Is it true that if a team lead extends longer than their original 30 day paid LOA, they could be replaced and loose their current team lead position? We have a team lead that has been gone almost three months on a vulnerable covid LOA and I’ve overheard some little birdies around the store...
