I realize there were online pre-orders for the system and stores are clearly just doing first come first serve. Now the question turns to games. Are we getting pre-order cards for Switch games soon?

Well, everything I've heard points to Target not doing in store pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch...and while we still have the Zelda pre-order cards for the Wii U version of the game, I haven't seen anything for Switch games. Anyone else hear anything?

I went ahead and pre-ordered at GameStop for both the Nintendo Switch and the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition. I can't trust that Target will sort this out. While I would love to use my discount, I'm not waiting in line for this thing or taking any chances.

@PassinTime ...WOW...when did you start? I remember making that much at Target 10 years ago. Back then they certainly never made it clear just how "important" selling the RedCard would be. I certainly hope they've improved their communication regarding expectations. I have orientation for this...

^ I feel you would have to, at least during the holiday shopping season. Similar to not be able to hold an item if they call the store inquiring about it.
