    Difficultly transferring stores. So frustrated!

Transfer me and let me start in two weeks then. Either way communication of what the issue is, if there is one would be appreciated.

    Difficultly transferring stores. So frustrated!

It’s one thing to deny a transfer, it’s another to just never get back to anyone at all about it. Also they are clearly hiring since they have the now hiring banners outside.

    Difficultly transferring stores. So frustrated!

I totally respect people are busy but it’s very frustrating that the new store just isn’t calling me back or contacting back. This is a good suggestion that I can try though. Thanks.

    Difficultly transferring stores. So frustrated!

Hello, I have been working at Target in the fulfillment department for about 7 months. No write ups or call outs. However I am moving and need to transfer stores. Originally I was told by the admin assistant at my current store to try to contact the new store myself, but I tried three times and...

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

If it’s anything like when I worked at Kohl’s, they would give the people they didn’t like much like 4 or 8 hours a week in hopes they would get frustrated and quit. They rarely fired people unless it was for like stealing or just not showing up for a shift.

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

I mean he understands it’s a sh*tty part time retail job. However at least Target compared similar sh*tty retail jobs actually starts out at a half decent hourly wage. Here in the South, the minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour and sadly many retail stores will start you at that or MAYBE $8.00...

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

I mean the manager he interviewed with literally said they called him because he had Target experience but I guess different strokes for different folks.

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

He did mark that he worked at Target previously. Ironically I think that’s part of the reason why this store called him in for an interview.

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

The only thing I can think of is the previous store was poorly managed and he was on the ship to store packing team. I’m thinking maybe nobody noticed he wasn’t showing up or if they did nobody bothered to do the paperwork for terminate and not rehireable.

Quit previously before two weeks notice was completed, but now have interviewed with another store

Long story short. My fiancé a few years ago gave two weeks notice at Target but due to circumstances had to quit before the two weeks notice is up. We sort of thought that would be make him non-rehirable due to job abandonment or something. However in recent weeks he reapplied at a different...

Archived Background Check Inquiry - Job Offer Contingent

The application did not ask but then there was a follow up document after the interview which did ask and he did disclosed. Thanks for your input. I’m surprised the quesrionatiree itself even asked for more than seven years if the background check doesn’t go back more than seven. It almost...

It was the position that fufills online orders. And no, no personal connections. It did not come up at the interview.

It wouldn’t. You aren’t listening. It would give me a heads up on what to probably expect which I would appreciate. You continue to tell me things that are really obvious and unhelpful.

Obviously. I’m not trying to be a jerk here but your input is completely unhelpful and I am not sure why you would even reply. Some people may actually have information relevant to the questions answered based on exepeirnce. Clearly you are not one of those people.

“Any constructive input or relevant feedback would be appreciated”. Please keep that last sentence in mind. Isn’t it pretty obvious why it matters? So I can maybe know what to expect before it happens.

Archived Background Check Inquiry - Job Offer Contingent

Hello, My fiancé was recently offered employment contingent upon passing a background check. I know Target now doesn't ask about criminal convictions on the application but they did ask after the job offer in this case. Anyway in 2009 he was convicted of misdemeanor embezzlement. He completed...
