There really isn’t a need for a Pcard unless you’re an STL, ETL HR, or PMT, and they definitely are not required. Store team uses them for recognition events, supplies, etc, and PMTs use them for tools or materials not available on SAP. Outside of that, you’d never need it. Don’t even bother.

This sounds like a policy made up by your HR. If you don’t get any traction from them or your STL, speak to DTL or HRBP.

I could potentially see them saying no if your store was seriously struggling with staffing, but if that were the case you’d probably be at 40 hours.

You’ll be better off telling them it’s closer to your house or something, they would probably take you more seriously. Don’t talk about hours, and keep in mind that TM hours are not guaranteed anywhere. A NCNS definitely won’t help you, your attendance records will certainly be looked at.
