Archived 50¢ raise for being "backroom certified"?

Heard from another BRTM today that I can get an additional 50¢ pay simply for being backroom certified, even if it's not my official workcenter yet?

Anyone have any info on this?

Backroom certification does not affect your pay rate. In order to be paid as a backroom TM, at least 50% of your hours have to be in the backroom (or other N07 workcenters such as electronics or plano) on a consistent basis. Also, if you're already at N07 due to working flow, you won't get a raise.

Get your HR to switch you to a backroom TM and your primary workcenter to backroom.

Yeah, I knew all of that, was just checking on what they mentioned to me.
Not sure what they were referring to then, unless it was just the workcenter switch

As I understand, your pay rate is tied to your position. Ideally, when your primary workcenter is changed, your position should be changed in the system to reflect your move to another workcenter. But of course, ASANTS, ALANTS, and @Flabbergasted's store.
