Hr or your tl should have had a conversation about special availability for that weekend. It is understood that if at all possible every tm will work thurs or Fri at some point if not both.
Yeah there was already a thread on this... pretty much when you are hired you signed an agreement acknowledging scheduling guidelines change based on business needs.
