I've been comp shopping for several years now. It was only a couple of weeks ago until I was finally informed by my team leader that such a thing as a comp shop score existed. That was a miss on my store management's part. I was thrown into this whole comp shop thing so I basically had to teach myself how to do it without a team trainer. How on earth is this thing graded and what does it entail to obtain a "Green" Score? How on earth can someone be scored on shopping competitor items? How does HQ grade us on this?
Any tips for obtaining a "Green" Score? I've heard things like doing only 75% of the list...what about leaving shops remaining in the list vs. deleting them via "Item Not Carried" button? I've heard "Price Not Available" is bad for your score. What on earth happened to the "No Price Change" button too? Does typing in the Rollback price actually help your score or not alter it at all? Please advice. Thanks a ton! 🙂
