I also love that mycheckout went down at 10a for half of all stores and they probably thought that was gonna be the worst part of their day

And the fact that they thought El Paso’s issue was a control room problem

Why not absorb mytech into my day and axe both standalone apps? Will mytech exist after myhelp is absorbed?

Hearing from multiple people that this wasn’t a mistake or glitch. It is much bigger then Target.

My first thought was some sort of attack. Seems to big to be caused by an oops.

But, then, a server filer issue caused half of all apps to be nonfunctional at my day job company, for something like 6 hours, so you never quite know when one seemingly small thing can cause Really Big Problems.

The even numbered stores is interesting. I wonder if Target has even numbered stores going to one data center and odd numbered stores into another...
