It happens at my store at times. The alarm at the exits will go off and no one even walked through it.

Haha, thats the spirit.....AP should call it in to get re-calibrated if it happens more then once or twice a day. I really hated those towers when I was in AP.....they didn't help us one bit.

At my store, it's the opposite. They don't go off when they're supposed to because fixing them would make too much sense.

We called it in all the time but they kept telling us it was due to the carts that they were going off all the time. They're mostly meant as a deterrent, no AP team is going to rely on the EAS towers going off in order to apprehend someone.

I don't like how it alarms the customers. I'm always telling them, "It's OK, probably your cell setting it off."
