This is the way.I always put "destroy" items aside for our receiver to review. (That's the TM at my store who preps the donations.) Things like feminine care (that don't get tagged as "salvage") and bandaids often get marked as destroy or toss, but a women's shelter in my area will take the fem care products and we'll use the odd box of bandaids in our first aid kits.
It was fixin to expire… December 16 chewy granola bars.. no recall nothinhwrong with themSome items come up destroy regardless because whatever company that makes them doesnt want them donated, so im assuming they have some sort of contract or incentive to not do so. Likely no one will even know but it could. What was the reason for the item removal?
5 weeks early is a little excessive. I guess you could have an abundance of them, but you should add the expiration date and leave them. I know its not a huge deal but you can donate dry goods up to a year past expiration. It was fixin to expire… December 16 chewy granola bars.. no recall nothinhwrong with them
You will be surprised how long dry good food can be donated. Ask the people picking stuff up they will tell alot of things is good weeks even months later. It was fixin to expire… December 16 chewy granola bars.. no recall nothinhwrong with them

Not true dry good should be donated up to a year past expiration. Fresh food should not be donated past expiration unless the meat was already frozen priorNever donate expired items....
