Archived FIRST DAY CAR ATTENDANT QUESTIONS

Today is my first day at being a Cart Attendant and training. It's also my first job too. I already have my TM#
(I'm 16 and currently at school, I have to be in at 5)
When I walk in do I punch in, or should I go to guest services and ask for my trainer and wait until he comes then punch in?
Also any more tips for coming in on the first day for cart Attendants and cashier's?
(I'll be training with cashiering next week)

If you can get into the TSC office, I would recommend getting clocked in and equipped with a walkie. You can call for your trainer on walkie. For me, my trainer met me on the sales floor and started working with me for my first closing shift. I started with Target as my first job also and I had lots of questions.

Push carts, carryouts, and empty trash for the most part.

Clock in and they should have shown you what to do when they walked you around at orientation. Good luck.
