Our local Walmart had an interesting method for having cashiers ask customers if they wanted to apply for a Walmart credit card.
They hung a sign at each register that said "Receive a free Pepsi if our associate doesn't ask about applying for a Walmart Credit Card."
I wonder how many people get a free Pepsi and what the reprocussions are for giving one away. The cashier has definitely not enthusiastic about asking.
BTW- I hate our Walmarts. They are dark, aisles are tight, and the employees seem grumpy. And I hate seeing freight all over (it was 6PM).
Even though Target shits on TMs I always encounter friendly TMs. Thank you TMs for putting on a smile even if you're having a bad day. I'd much rather shop at Target because of guest service alone.
