I got hired and my orientation is today 11/14. But feel like is so late for them to consider me for full time? Did i get hired too late for seasonal or do i still have a chance? My plan was to try and get cross trained in many positions o could but I saw they start offering to stay mid December and I wont have that much time to show them im worth keeping? Also on my offer letter it shows the position, it says general merchandise expert. Is that accurate or will they change it?

Welcome @didi0523. If that is what you applied for on the job application, yes that is accurate. Learn how to do your job well before you start learning about any other areas. Be on time for all of your work shifts. Ask questions if you don’t understand something from your trainer and training. In the allotted period you are with Target 🎯, attendance and work performance are how you are “judged” if you will remain or not. Do those things with flying colors and you should have a “Spot” with Target 🎯

At my store they don’t decide who is staying till January. I was seasonal 15 years ago. They told be I was staying in January. My advice if you want to stay:
1. Do not call out unless you are really sick like Covid or Flu.
2. Never say no. Stay late, come in early, come on your day off. Do whatever is asked with no complaints.
3. Do not be late!!!
You will probably be GM but, will be also trained for cashier, flex, and drive up. When busy you will be called to help with cashier, flex, and drive up.
