Archived How many miles do you commute to work?

I am about 20 miles from my store passing two stores on the way. I drive against traffic though so I can get there in around 25 minutes. How about you all?

Google says it's 21 miles, about thirty minutes. After stopping for coffee is about a 40 minute trip. 4am means no traffic. I pass one store about five minutes from my house. But nobody likes that store and it's probably still ulv.

I'm 3 miles from my store, i can get there in 5 minutes flat on a good day.

Maybe 2-3 miles, 5 minute ride, maybe 10 if there's traffic. Wouldn't be worth it for me if it was further away; i'd use up my entire paychecks with gas money!

Bus to work comes by between 5:35AM and 5:45AM if I'm working at 6AM. 10 minute bus ride. It's the first bus running for the entire day, it's the only one with a guaranteed time.

Between 6:30AM and 6:45AM if I'm working at 7AM. 10 minute bus ride.

Bus comes around either 2:38 if I get off at 2:30PM or 3:48 if I get off at 3:30, 15 minutes home if 2:30PM, and 15 minutes home if 3:30PM and I don't get caught behind a school bus, 20 minutes if I do.

Two miles to work, roughly half an hour walking.

Google says a distance of 6.7 miles at about 15 minutes with good traffic.

Is there another way than taking the streets by car ?

The freeway which shaves off about 5 min but I don't drive on those.

DC's ~25 mi. away, about 30 min to get there in the late afternoon, closer to 20 coming home in the early morning.

About 4 minutes depending on stoplights, usually about 5-7 minutes for a drive. Could walk there in 15-20 minutes.

Around 15 miles, but I have an early enough shift that it's only a 20 minute drive.
