It's not really any different, but I count it as working half as long as your shift was, extra but at regular pay. Probably a bit different since Spot does pay by the minute, but it's a close enough approximation.

So if you're working an 8 hour shift, count it as you're working a 12 hour shift at regular pay.

Man, I want to pick up hours for monday, but max I could work is 6 hours, or else I get OT. Not bad I guess, but a full 8 would be awesome.

I thought Holiday hours do not count towards your regular 40.

Holiday hours do not count towards your 40 hours. that's why I volunteered to work open to close ( I know I sound crazy lol). My curious question is I'm taking two vacation days that week but am scheduled my usual 40 that includes the hours for Monday. Take the hours away on Monday can I use vacation time to go to 40 even with holiday hours factored in
