Archived How to Set Schedules?

I'm still in the process of learning myTime and there are a few people that I want to have a set weekly schedule. How would I go about doing that in myTime?

At Spot the people don't set their schedule, the schedule sets them.

Go into Monday - Preplan. Right click the name of the TM you want on a set and select "edit pattern." It's pretty self explanatory from there. Set the dates you want the set to begin and end (you can pick "forever" for the end date). Then you just schedule the shifts.

Best practice is to use Monday - Preplan, but you can edit sets on any page that displays the scheduling grid.

You can always edit the shifts it pulls for a set, but it makes scheduling much quicker when you have people work some of the same shifts every week anyway. I had my PA's weekends set on a rotation and I had the FDC team set for truck days. From therei scheduled to fill opening an d closing shifts and then added miss as I could. My schedule was totally set. I could always edit shifts to cut back hours if needed.
