LOA QUESTION

Hi all, I’m wondering if you can start work before ur LOA ends or you have to wait till it’s over? Do you typically go back to ur same department or you’re placed where it’s needed?

You can end it early. LOA always ends on a Saturday and you can start working on Sunday. That said, if you do not clear the LOA before working it screws up your paycheck because you can't be paid on LOA.

Your Dr must clear you to work if it is a medical LOA. If personal, call your store 3 weeks before you want to come back so they can get you on the schedule.

Oh okay, cus I called my target and they told me I couldn’t start until it finishes. I had the impression that once u called to say when ur ready to work they’ll put u on the next schedule out.
