Talk to a veteran TM at your store. Seriously, I like when a newbie asks questions so they can do their job better. (That different from the kind of question where they're actually getting me to do their job for them. That's not cool.)
Sometimes, that might mean the vet helping a guest as you stand by, then explain what they did and how you can do it on your own next time.
Never feel stupid about asking questions. How else are we supposed to learn?
