MyTime call-off

I’m scheduled for a shift tomorrow morning but i’ll be unable to come in because i’m sick. I submitted a ticket on mytime saying i wont make it but im unsure what to do now. the status shows a thumbs up… does that mean it’s all good? just trying not to be accused of pulling a no call no show lol.

How do call off sick on the app?

I clicked on "Manage Shift" and it didn't give a call off option.

It's at 3:00 PM on Wednesday.

I did go to the "My Requests" screen, pick "Call Off Absent" but it wouldn't let me pick "Select Schedule"

This seems likely. You can't call in more than 36 hours before the scheduled shift.

I was able to do it but only 12 hours before my shift not 36.

Yeah idk where this 36hrs is coming from but the two times i had to do it (thabk you stomach bug from hell) It only let me 12hrs before.

I noticed that my Call Off for 5/XX for being sick is no longer shown under requests.

Do they delete things after a copy of weeks?

This is exactly why I did a screenshot of that 5/XX request.

Appears to go away after two weeks. I had to say I was half an hour late on the app on May 31st, and it dropped off of the "My Requests" tab of myTime a few days ago.

That's interesting because requests in My Time Self Service stay in there for months.

Years in fact. I believe myTime Self Service requests stay in there for about two years. At least those are as far back as requests I've put in go back to.

Apparently if you login on the Chromebox at work it shows any requests still.

I haven't verified this but more importantly I did get my sick pay added (two weeks after the fact of course!)
