I assume it will do that but some guests reading it will read it as “more storage on iPad for free”

to be fair an exchange has NEVER worked like that haha.

They are getting mad at us for low new circle sign ups, but why do they make it the most unintuitive way possible? Why does the pin pad only give you an option for phone number? And if you are not signed up why doesn't it ask for you to sign up there instead of suspending and going to an entirely new application? And why does two of the three buttons on the sign up application do absolutely nothing but tell them that they have an account already? Let me print out the temporary barcode again if they are signed up.

They make it absolutely as hard as possible to use the loyalty and get mad when people don't use it? Not to mention expecting infinite growth in an finite system.

Could the POS team make sure the cash back screen does not prompt when the drawer is open? We leave the drawers open without cash at night but people can still select cash back when we don't have any.

We've never done that. We bank the register and then stop using it completely.

Sounds like a feature request would be to put manned registers into a no-cash mode so that you can only take credit/debit, GiftCard, and Wallet payments.

We do it cause our ghetto neighbor store gets broken into every other day. 😭

That is no longer best practice. New POS doesn't "close," and New POS registers are designed to continue to be used even after start funds are done at night.

Even with training receipts. Either another lead has to sign in or the AP lead suspends it and has a regular TM sign into it

Did anyone else’s SCO coupon retrieval get different? It’s the same thing as the register that just asks to make sure the coupons are collected. No need to scan in anymore

Corporate is being to end taking cash at SCO. They say if we don’t have pennies to turn cash off completely and use regular lanes.

Those dumbasses need to make a no penny mode and petition the government to make an official rounding policy

When the POS goes offline and the entire store has to switch to MyCheckouts there should be a feature where you can scan everything on the regular registers by scanning a code on the MCO to login. It would then print/show a slip similar to a suspend slip. The slip would have all the barcodes that the TM scanned and the MCO would convert them to the DPCI and get all the info. The TM would finish the transaction from the MCO
If possible because the new POS box has a USB C port there should be a way to use the MCO as a hotspot to get the regular register running again.

Somewhat true now with checkout hotspot. Just need an ELO with antennas and a MCO
