Hello I'm new to this site but boy I'm I glad it exists and I found it.
So I just got hired this past Thursday and on Saturday had my hardlines training.
Unfortunately is seems that because my Target is hiring a lot of people right now the Training lacks thoroughness and although I got the gist of it down I was still left with some unanswered questions. And according to my schedule Saturday was my only day training in hardlines. At this point my best option seems to be picking the brains of other TM's who work hardlines as much as possible. But I'm hoping to find some answers to some of my questions here.
What exactly am I suppose to do when an item a guest wants is in the backroom?
What do they mean by responding to guests who use the phones? And what exactly am I suppose to do?
If we're suppose to respond to the additional cashiers needed request won't that leave the store devoid of TM's to help guests?
How long do I have the New Team Member Name Badge?
P.S. any other advice you guys can offer is greatly appreciated.
