Seems strange, and like the article said that his designs helped give us the "cheap chic" set us apart from other retailers. As for why anyone's guess is as good as mine.

i'm glad i learned this...that makes the man an impressive person. I feel bad about what I posted above now.

60 min did a great story on him a couple yrs back. He earned my respect even more.

All good partnerships eventually come to an end.

With all the other big names jumping in with Target the last couple years it will not be too hard to find someone else with some cool designs to fill the void.
