A week or so ago I asked if you all knew of some 10 day meat rule.
Today I had the opportunity to ask that person what 10 day rule he was talking about on his last visit. Of course he did not remember saying there was a 10 day rule. He did remember questioning a case of meat in the cooler though. I asked him to come to the meat cooler and I showed him the poster. Well, hit me with a feather and I will fall over. He admitted he was wrong. I told him that there used to be a 10 day rule in the produce cooler but that changed months ago to a 4/7 rule but only in there. The only rule in meat is TPC full case 5 days before the freeze by date. Made me feel good to question it and find out I was following the correct process.
