So I have been fortunate enough to have landed a good job in the public sector, but unfortunately as it deals with education, I will be staying at the omnipresent bullseye through the summer.

I am trying to figure out-- is there any way to use LOA or FMLA (or a combination) to hold on to my discount card just a little while longer? That is one perk I will truly miss.
 
They let college kids at my store take LOA and work summers and breaks,if you're good they may let you do that. It depends on the store.
 
If it's for another job, they may not want you to take an LOA. If it's a Monday-through-Friday job, your store may let you just work on weekends.
