Most likely stay the same because they are both same paygrade, but ASANTSI was given the GSA position but haven't been made an offer yet. I was wondering if I'd get a pay raise or would they just flat out say no because Electronics and GSA are in the same pay grade.
Sure, I do both as well. I just love covering guest service's lunch and having the electronics person come up and hand me the keys and tell me that the LOD said I would cover their lunch. Because, you know, I enjoy covering three different areas at once.I do both and I actually prefer GSA. Then again, I am at a ULV and am a bit crazy 😵😀
Yup! It is kind of nice though because then you actually get time to do what needs to be done offstage sometimes. For example, I am in charge of equipment control and all FE POG Planning. I need some time to get my pogs together, so that is nice.Sure, I do both as well. I think you gotta be a bit crazy to be at a ULV.
This is the main reason they moved me to GSA. My STL said she wanted me to go further in the company so she moved me from Electronics to the GSA position. She said that she and the other ETLs would be prepping me for interviews so that I could be signed off as a TL on the bench. She also said she thinks while I'm on the bench I'd be getting TL pay but she wasn't sure....is this true??If you are getting a good amount of hours in electronics, there is no way I would go to GSA, unless you are looking to promote. For the same rate of pay, it is NOT worth it.
Red cards are not your friend

Developing you to promote via GSA is basically a 'sink or swim' test.
If you do a great job, they'll leave you there because good GSAs are hard to find.
If you DON'T do a good job, you'll be left there because you haven't proven that you're up for the task.
