As of today May the Fourth 2023 you can’t sign in without either a Speed ID or Zebra. To get a Speed ID select Print Speed ID then it prints.

Nope. The scan and Speed ID are the only options now. Can’t enter your numbers

It literally changed yesterday so that’s why you could if logged in that way

There's a bar code on the screen that you scan.

626 is right, everyone needs a zebra to log on to the register. After the initial log in, they can use the speed id.

There is a print speed ID button on the home screen.
You CAN also login manually but its hidden under alot of buttons lol.

I'll have to play with it more tomorrow. I always have a zebra, but the cashiers must be like "huh?"

Ours says on the screen "print speed ID", which it did when it asked for my TM#.
When you scan it tho, it WILL ask for your PIN so a little layer of protection.
