I'm Lost! Question about tuition reimbursement

I was wondering how it works if I spend more than the annual limit for tuition reimbursement ($4000 for graduate courses). For example if I were to spend $12000 in year one, would I get reimbursed just $4000 in year one and have to bear the rest of the cost myself, or would I also get $4000 in years two and three?

Thanks!!

You would just get reimbursed for the $4000 the first year, nothing after that, unless of course you were to take more classes the following year.
