I've worked at Target for about a year, and recently went on an educational LOA because I'm going back to school. I'm not due to come back until the holiday season, but is there a way I can possibly turn in my voluntary termination? I'm a little sick of Target and have recently come across better options, but I don't want to just not return from my LOA, as I think that prevents me from being able to be re-hired.

@HRZone or @LUR99 may be of help here.

Thanks, yup you can terminate in person or over the phone. Since you are on LOA the process is they take you off LOA for a day and then they cam terminate you.

I appreciate you handling it that way. Educational LOA's expire after one calendar year. But some tms refuse to actually let you know they have moved on and ignore mail and phone calls so I often have to send out certified mail to people on LOA confirming they received notice.

If they don't contact us, they are terminated. It's a lot of hassle and for those who make me go through that trouble I do key them as non rehireable.
