Reporting ETL for intimidation?

Recently I've just transferred to a new store due to a cross country move. Over the past month, I've gone to the ER twice and I've finally received care from a specialist this week. My doctor wants to perform a biopsy ASAP, so I will need to miss work this Tuesday and Wednesday. It is critical that I get this procedure done since I've been feeling pretty bad.

When I called my ETL to notify her, she blew up on the phone. Before I even got a word in, she said: "first thing you need to know about me is that I'm super anal with the schedule" and that it's a huge deal if it changes since they're so understaffed (lol I wonder why). I said that I have to get this biopsy done and that I don't have
a choice. She then went into how she sent me the schedule "a long time ago" (one week ago) and I shouldn't be pulling this. I explained a few more times that I NEED to do this and that I just saw the doctor this week since I just moved.

Today I went in person and she a lot tamer - which wasn't surprising. She asked the TL if he changed the schedule and he said no not yet. She then told me that I'm on "her list" now because of it. And I said again that it's an emergency biopsy and I just saw a doctor. She
said it didn't matter and I should plan better.

Is this something worthy of reporting to corporate?

I would report casually to the SD or hr and just say that you feel bad but it Is an emergency and whatever. That way if it turns into any further you can so you had the conversation. Keep the record for your self so you have proof that you talked to this person at this time on that day just in case. Most likely it won't do any good unfortunately.

Even though you’ve told ETL you can’t work those days I would still call out both those days. If you don’t call out they may try to say you were a no call no show. I would also put shifts on the app.

talk to an ETL higher than her (SD or ETL HR) stating that you felt intimidated and it doesn't really matter what they say. Log it. Time and date and the ETL that you spoke with.

Thats totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

Etl hr is not higher is just her peer. You can talk to sd . But if you want to report it to hr that would be hrpb
