Hi all, I’m a Target newb, just about to hit my one month mark. I was hired as a cashier (EA if someone important asks) and have been pretty extensively trained for guest services. Since I’ve been hired I’ve pretty much been scheduled on SCO every shift. I get a lot of hours so I’m not complaining, but I’m wondering what the deal is. Do they put people on SCO when they think you’re a decent employee or is that where they stick people they think suck? The only reason I care is because I’m hoping to get kept on past seasonal and am trying to get a read of my chances.

In most cases ,stores utilizes TMs where ever it make business sense.

It's a good sign. They typically put someone over there that can hustle when it gets busy and can do what's necessary to make things right for the guest without having to defer to leadership when a problem pops up. It's not to early to let the GSTLs know you enjoy working at Target and would like to stay after the holidays.
