Do we have to keep them til the end of seasonal period or can we performance them out if theyre not meeting expectations?
 
If the tm's is under 90 days, the answer is yes. We had new hire who called out & was late almost every shift. He is gone now.
 
I have three people that we're letting go this week. I'd rather be short than keep them around and let them keep being late and calling in.
 
Keep them on a short leash. There are so many people who are looking for second jobs throughout the holidays, there's no reason to drag any dead weight around.
