Benefits Short term to long term disability

I'm on short term disability which runs out at the end of the week. Short term and long term disability are 2 different companies. I already filled for long term as well but have heard nothing and it's been almost 3 weeks. I tried calling and can't get a bold of anyone either.

Anyone know the process for transitioning from STD to LTD?

I did the case manager for STD referred me to New York life for the LTD.

Looks like ReedGroup has to initiate the transition from them to new York like for LTD.

Yes got it all figured out. My claim was approved first check issued on the 17th just waiting for it.

I think it was 80% for 4 weeks and 60% the remainder.
