A few months ago I got put in charge of setting up the ad in addition to my billion other duties that I don't get paid for. Anyway, I've started to make some positive changes but I'm looking for input on how to get the TLs on board with the changes.
.) Untied POG signs (the ones that come with the POG and shelf location, but no aisle) are now set aside for the plano team and TLs for revisions and sales planners unless there is a current location for that POG. I don't have the time to look and see if there is already a sign in the stacks for the current location. If it's an ad item, the signs are readily available.
.) I work the ad prep report and its related batch. Apparently this also means that I have to print off EVERY SINGLE EBATCH for the month. I went onto the computer today and there was a list of 15-or-so HQ batches that all had not been printed for the entire month of May. I printed all of the signs that were still active and did plain paper for the expired ones. After I was done I talked with the LOD about it and she said that we are really bad about it. I think I'm going to get stuck with it since I'm the one who deals with promo signing (Yeah, I don't do ISM signing).
.) I get very territorial when others try to help me with my workload. I sometimes do this when they don't follow my logic:
.) I prep the ad as if I would have to set the entire store myself. Then, usually around 8:30AM on Sunday morning I do this:
