A few months ago I got put in charge of setting up the ad in addition to my billion other duties that I don't get paid for. Anyway, I've started to make some positive changes but I'm looking for input on how to get the TLs on board with the changes.

1.) Untied POG signs (the ones that come with the POG and shelf location, but no aisle) are now set aside for the plano team and TLs for revisions and sales planners unless there is a current location for that POG. I don't have the time to look and see if there is already a sign in the stacks for the current location. If it's an ad item, the signs are readily available.

2.) I work the ad prep report and its related batch. Apparently this also means that I have to print off EVERY SINGLE EBATCH for the month. I went onto the computer today and there was a list of 15-or-so HQ batches that all had not been printed for the entire month of May. I printed all of the signs that were still active and did plain paper for the expired ones. After I was done I talked with the LOD about it and she said that we are really bad about it. I think I'm going to get stuck with it since I'm the one who deals with promo signing (Yeah, I don't do ISM signing).

3.) I get very territorial when others try to help me with my workload. I sometimes do this when they don't follow my logic:

4.) I prep the ad as if I would have to set the entire store myself. Then, usually around 8:30AM on Sunday morning I do this:

The team leads need to be held accountable for their areas you may have to go to the ETLs ETL HR or your STL to make sure they are following up with their TLs have them check the message boards for their department each day it'll be on there if an ebatch is needed for their department and where to find it then if that department isn't getting done you will know where the slack is coming from

They decided that the Signing Specialist was responsible for doing all the batches every day.
Of course if I wasn't there that meant nobody did them.
I was in the hospital for a week and not a damned one was run.

my signing tm does the HQ batches and pus them up. she also prints the prep batch and gives it to our ad prepper. thats all the involvement she has with the ad though. we have 1 sometimes 2 tm's who prep the ad then we have a team to set up Sundays,

HOwever I do check the HQ batches almost daily also and print if she hasnt gotten to it.

Anything that has an ebatch that drops into the consumables message board I will usually try to take care of :) There is usually one a week at least
