I haven't logged in here for a while, news on my development. After several months as my stores Dry Market specialist, I managed to drastically improve the department(still needs a lot if work) and learned communicate effectively with all leadership in my store. I'm really close to obtaining the Starbucks Team Lead Position which I didn't even apply for but now I really want. Front End ETL asked me if I was interested, at first told him I'll think about it cause my desire was to stay on sales floor. I realized I would have a small team to delegate which would give me massive supervisor experience and if I wanted to later apply for sales floor TL once a position became available I would be able to lead a larger team. Days later Front End ETL asked if I wanted to interview, I said yes and I did well. Next day HR ETL interviewed me and I did even better. My STL Interview was yesterday and she left me astonished with her massive confidence in me. She gave me a new found sense of pride, and told me I not only talk about my plans and goals but I deliver through on them. So I just need to interview with the DTL who will have the final say. I feel confident the position is mine I'm excited and want to start working on developing TM to become more motivated. Anyways I was already told the basic SBTL responsibilities. What I'm interested in is having a sort of outline on a daily routine. For example not just listing that I have to make the schedule, and order, taking it further not in complete detail but more info would be cool. Like how often would I make the schedule, what application would I use. where would I place the order, where do delivered items go. Do they need to be accounted for like items that are Backstocked can I organize them to fit more items. Is there a cleaning routine, or log like in PFresh. What are other things that are important that I'm missing. Any info would be cool thank you guys for reading my thread sorry for rambling lol

It sounds like you're in good shape. Since your store-level interviews were successful, the DTL interview might be no more than a formality, as many DTLs trust their STLs' judgement.

If you get the position, you should spend plenty of time training on all that stuff, preferably with a SBTL at another store.
