Target in the next 3-5 yrs

We aren't allowed tips, even if the guest insists.
Instead we ask them to do a survey.
Any money left behind goes into the register & yeah, there's a camera right over us.

Actually, if a guest insist on giving a tip. You can keep it, so long as you report it to an ETL. There is a something on Workbench that states this. Again, though you have to refuse and can't have anything out for tips. But after all that and they insist, you are entitled to it. So long as you report it.

We put ours in the TM recognition fund so it doesn’t throw off register counts. *When my team doesn’t want to take them.
*edit for clarification

At our store you're told that if you refuse it, and they insist, you can take it.

At the next store over they're told the same thing, but they encourage telling a TL or ETL. But never a certain one because they will always say to put it in the register. They'll actively tell you not to tell that person, and this is TLs telling people this.

I wonder if Target will hire an outsource their employees like example Starbucks.

The general public thinks they work for Starbucks anyway.
A couple years ago they almost had a deal with a large grocery chain down south to run the market departments and debated on Trader Joe’s too

might add here that the vendor we have that is supposed to take care of what was MMB has not been seen in a reallllllyyy loooong time. the vendors we have for chips etc are always "red". so why would Target hand over the entire market area?

oh wait… it's Target we're talking about… so next week it is

The company has been growing in sales, online and physical, while still building new locations and expanding an online market that rivals Amazon in certain categories. The ways they’re going about it is sloppy and chaotic for sure, buts it’s still a profitable business at the end of the day.

Some of you guys project your opinions about your red stores thinking there’s a company wide deficit without checking any factual earning reports lol
