I'm doing a project and am too scared to ask HR to have people fill out this survey, or ask to review TM surveys.

@Hardlines Master - sorry. Tried to make it short and sweet :). I'm really interested in boosting morale at my location and am curious. I guess this would be considered a convenience poll... But at this point, I'll take what I can get.

Explanation for "Leaving Target due to workplace issue" : Pay is too low for someone who has deal with local thieves with one hand practically behind his back and a very "narrow" area to work with. Give me a raise by 3 dollars(or give me more hours) or loosen the ROE and I'd be satisfied.

Posted number reflects current situation. At different times those numbers would have been lower. My current Team Lead and most of my fellow backroom team members just happen to be very good at the moment.

No.

Some have gained my trust, but as a general rule, I am very cautious. If an ETL is fawning over me, telling me what a great job I am doing, I immediately think there is an ulterior motive behind it. I do not go to HR with problems. I do not call the Hotline.

Sorry, but its been a learned defense that has served me well.

Target needs to pay a living wage a give hours enough to complete the assigned tasks. Target makes the mistake of playing at being a decent place to work which raises the expectation that it is.

After being here for more than a decade, I am disappointed with the direction the company is going in, and the quality of the talent that we are hiring. Target used to be fast, fun, and friendly, and a great place to work. I've made many friends over the years, worked different positions in the store, and in different states. Unfortunately, when the company started to change, and leadership as well, it went in a negative direction. Especially at my store. Everything has gone downhill in the 4 years since our STL left, and questionable things were done at my store, that were against district policy but done anyway. A lot of the lifers have left at my store, especially the high-quality, excellent employees. The turnover is high, making it difficult to retain and adequately train new team members, and contribute to an effective process that works for the whole store, which just creates a circle of chaos.

It's really a shame, because the Target I once knew and loved, is not the same Target that I know today.

Been in mgmt long before coming to Target, we have certainly come a long way, but have regressed in more ways that have hurt us...
