MEGATHREAD The On-Demand Team Member (ODTM) Thread

Many On Demand team members are scheduled for times they didn’t want. To my knowledge this has been happening since the inception of On Demand. As mentioned before, if it’s against your availability, you shouldn’t be penalized. Showing up just to “annoy” someone else seems to hurt you more in end because you’re working a shift presumably angry 😡 and 2) they got someone to cover their shift vacancy. Win for them, loss for you and customers you’ll encounter because you’re body is physically there at Target 🎯. Your mind however…. 😒😒

Yeah the shift is still there so guess what? I'm calling out. Now if the HR TL tries to chew me out (which I fully expect) I have record of me not accepting that shift, then subsequently saying I cannot work a shift I did not agree to (phone calls AND emails). My coworkers who are still regularly at the store say the HR TL at my store is slowly starting to lose it and that's become pretty evident by problems like this. My favorite TL left for an ETL position at another store so honestly I have no reason to bend over backwards for Target. I'd much rather do that for my internship at this point (which has me doing exactly what I want to do for more money!!)
