Sales Floor Transferring via workday

Has anyone ever transferred or applied to a different store via workday? I was looking to transfer to a different store and went to see what openings they had and saw that current team members could apply internally. Would it be better to try to transfer this way than going though my etl hr? Or would I have to go through them anyways? Does anyone know what this process even looks like?

It would be better to first talk to your ETL .

You can't actually initiate a transfer without going through HR. They have to process it at the very least, but will generally facilitate the conversation with the preferred store to see if they are willing and able to accept the transfer.
