Archived Transferring

I've worked at my Target for over 3 years now. I have recently moved to the next city over and would like to transfer to the Target that is in my new city. I went to talk to my ETL-HR and they said that since the city I moved to is a "college town" then I can't transfer there because all of the college students would want to do that. Can they do this and not let me transfer?

P.S. I'm not a college student.

That's the biggest crock of shit I ever heard of. If you have a clean record, go to other store and see if a position is available. You need your stores blessing to transfer but it doesn't hurt if a new store will take you. Your store can stop it but not for the reason they gave you.

Ask your stl to help transfer to the other store. But, I would Ck out the other store first.

I’d visit the store you’re wanting to transfer to and speak to HR ... It’s a mute point if they don’t have a need for you.

As long as you’ve had a good record, there’s no reason why they can’t make the transfer happen.
