It was my understanding that the Tina traveled by police escort wen she was in town... Gross me out. Who would recognize her?! What could possibly have been /be a threat to her? I'm really grossed out by the target culture... I shouldn't have been surprised- but I am somehow.
I like how they totally ignore the existence if places like Costco when they go on with their anti union propagandizing... Yeah- ok, target- things are so good here for the workers- wouldn't want to screw up THAT utopian employment..

**( quote didn't work, but this was in response to danninnj's comment" "While I can't prove it, I'm willing to bet a nice men's Burberry shirt that Tina and her cohorts visited high-end stores as part of research and implemented the Vibe from their experiences (I'll take a small, please.)" )
Didn't see a police escort, but it was definitely a herd of people with her...and she definitely doesn't shop at target for her open toed death spike heels, makeup, or clothing. That visit was a joke. Instead of taking the time to say hello to underlings and vibe it up, they ran around the store and avoided most of us.

They skipped our store on that November tour... Lol! So heartbreaking that was. I just can not believe the bs they try to sell to their workforce- when its blatantly obvious that they are literally no different than any other big box retail employer. I was really blown away by some o the outstanding and loyal employees at my store who give 100% and are treated like indentured servants. The good part of that job was certainly the camaraderie. The guests were fun for the most part too, but I had a little trouble playing the role they like to cast you in with the gross huddle bs and the understaffing/ overworking. They pay almost nothing- and while that's fine- they expect an awful lot of buy in for next to the bare minimum investment.( truly expect more pay less employment model)

My STL put it in a good sense for me. He told me to first try to see if they have a receipt with a "RedCard YTD savings" on it and see how much they shop using that card. For my store, the average guest who is loyal to Target spends 10k per year on product. Vibing helps us retain these guests. He basically said "If you have to give away $10, $50, or even $100 to keep a guest shopping who spends 5-10k a year at Target and not a competitor, then it's worth it." However, we are militant on guests who are CLEARLY abusing policies like coupon policies and fraud.

Hell this vibing, I can agree with.

Heh. I wish she came to mine. She was supposed to once, but communication sucks and I got wrong info.

I'd probably be giving her death stares across the store if I did see her. I don't care if you're from corporate, I am not impressed with you.

That's kinda like how the registers allow no receipt returns over the $70 limit for people who spend a lot and/or have a redcard. I wish there was a button called "to vibe or not" under K5 - Functions. Just swipe their card through that and it will tell you whether they spend jack shit here or whether they are someone actually worth keeping.

I wonder what the reaction would be if you said on the walkie. "Tina could you respond for back-up?"

But returning a DVD from the big box across the street labeled as such is a bit much. /facepalm.

Found that today in my in sticks a scanning.
