Wal-Mart Stores Inc. on Friday said it would acquire more retail and distribution space in Canada from rival Target Corp., a few months after Target revealed plans to exit out of its money-losing operations in the country.

Nice of Spot to give Walmart a dominate position in Canada against almost any other major retailer.

Especially considering they are anti much of what the Canadian labor attitude is about.

Had Target not acquired all those properties, they most likely would've become Walmarts anyways.

Once again Walmart shows how it should've been done 'cause you KNOW they'll do a controlled roll-out & make sure they've got their distribution ready.

This has some interesting info. For instance Target sold 39 locations to Walmart in 2011.
