i'm scheduled to work saturday but i have to take my SAT on that day. I put my shift up on the shift swap board for like 3 days now but no one wants it. i talked to my close coworkers but they're all working too. So...what should i do? i really don't wanna have to call in because it'll be a bad record

Talk to you GSA, etl or hr without delay. They may know other folks who want hours.

If no one takes it, call out.
The only way a call-out would ding you is if you've called out frequently or you didn't call at least two hours before your shift started.

I would keep checking to see if anyone wanted the shift ...if not I would call out .

You didn't know when your SAT would be until just the past week or two? Doesn't seem like a lot of time to prepare. Good luck!

Talk to your TL and let them know you will have to call off that day. If they don't offer a solution, you'll have to do just that.
