Archived When and how do they complete your last payout?

Hey guys

I have a friend/co-worker that just left Target and says he did not get paid out on the day that they let him go from the company (he tried to give 2-weeks, but instead they fired him). I thought they were supposed to pay you out on that day. Also he is saying that he will not get paid any vacation pay and I thought they had to pay you that, as well when you left the company. I have only been with company for 6 months, so I am not up everything like this. Just hoping that someone could tell me when they are supposed to pay you and how (check, auto deposit, and so on). I am kinda just wondering, as they treated him like s*#t at the very end and I can't be sure that they aren't screwing him over here. I am just glad that I only work week 3 nights a week to pay for my gas and car insurance, as I have full ride to a college in my town and will be graduating in December.

Hey guys and gals,

I just found out from our main cash office person that at least at our store that they recently stopped paying on the spot. Also was told that the new HR program Workday has something to do with this. Sounds the training for this program has not been great and even the HRTL really does not know how to use it. It now sounds like you have to wait for the next payday to get paid out. Still not sure if it will be by paper check or auto deposit.

My friend got an auto deposit, as well as paper stub. Did not get any vacation pay, but rather just regular pay and overtime. What a shame that he lost all of that vacation pay.

Unless mandated by your state terms of vay-cay, personal holidays & sick leave are solely at the company's discretion.
