I actually left a letter in my HR-ETL's mailbox yesterday & let her know my last available day will be April 23rd.
She called today and said she'd like to sit down and see if we can adjust my availability to work occasionally until my other responsibilities reduce. She did mention that if I...
I've been working at Spot since the beginning of last November, I was hired as Seasonal but they kept scheduling me and here I am in March still working 5-20 hours a week.
I originally took the job thinking I would use it to supplement my other full-time job (40 hr/wk doing employee benefits)...
THIS... Every time. I answer "Thank you for calling City, State Target. This is Name, how can I help you?" At least 50% of the time they ask which store they reached or what my name is...
Same for our store... We only have an HR TM in the TSC a couple hours a week.
We carry a wireless with us and zone/re-shop the dept. closest to FR in addition to clean-up & guest assist in FR.
I am seasonal. I've been working since mid-November. I've never been late, picked up extra shifts when called and I am on the schedule for January (through 1/10 at least).
I had to call out last Sunday, my sister seriously hurt herself and she lives alone 6 hours away. I called the store &...
When I interviewed they explained that my orientation would be scheduled after my background check had cleared. They also mentioned that the length of time for the BGC could take days to weeks but they would call me to schedule orientation as soon as they heard back from the agencies.
Maybe...
Same! And "guests" want to make a joke of it and bump their carts into it, so I'm picking up bikini pieces and rehanging every time I turn around.
Funny thing is we are unseasonably warm for December. Almost pool weather when we should have snow.
I closed again tonight & I followed your advice. It turned out MUCH better... Of course we were dead from 11-midnight, so that helped too. They even pulled me to help power zone toys & I was happy with how things looked when I left.
I'm seasonal Softlines salesfloor, this was my 3rd Friday night working. I had an 8 hour shift but spent 2 hours training for cashier.
Anyways I only got half of RTW zoned and had a cart full of reshop left when the store closed at 11 :(
I felt like a failure to be honest. I stopped the LOD as...
I'm new, seasonal & I was working on BF but my daughter (17, lives at home) shopped & received a 20% coupon... It's ok if she uses it, right? I just received my actual TM discount card, can she use that too? She did not use my TM disc on BF.
I'm seasonal Softlines SF & I haven't been trained for Cashier yet... I've been called in to work extra shifts because so many of our other seasonals have quit already. I asked to train for Cashier so I could help when they call for b/up but no one seems in a hurry to get me trained... Even...
I had my orientation 2 weeks ago & was told to dress comfortably, no need for red/khaki... but I think it depends on your store.
I did get my "training" schedule (first 2 weeks) at orientation but didn't actually work until the next day.
Hello!
I'm new too & just signed on for Seasonal as a 2nd job... I have a 4x10 schedule at my office job & I'm taking on Target to save college $$. My orientation is this Saturday. I've never worked retail so this should be enlightening.
