Communication. Talk WITH your team - not TO them. After all, you should have the same goal and they can make you look good or bad. Ask them questions - listen and understand. Ask them what they need from you - training, support, fix a problem, even something small like get their re-shop for them cause they’re swamped with push.
Be available. Do what you say you will do.
Are you talking about apparel & beauty (more widely known as specialty sales) or A block & B block in the store? You may get more impactful advice if we know what exactly your area is. Though @Far from newbie has excellent general advice!!
