On our store head count page, it shows no "Signing Specialist/Signing Team Member". Should I be worried, is it just because every store has a Signing TM so it goes without saying.

Seeing a store without a Signing TM would be hilarious however.
It doesn't show reverse logistics or the HRTM either, but those positions aren't going away.

I can kind of see why they listed GSAs and FAs, since those are quasi-leadership positions, but I have no clue why they list a PMT headcount. Every store has one...

Believe they count pmts as tls

One of my old PMT's... Building Services at the time, had to write the Status, Brand Walk, Business Walk, Individual Development Plan... all the things TL's had to do.

I think pmts get a lot of bad credit. I joke around with mine all the time about how he does nothing. But in actuality I know he does a lot. Not just for my store but he goes to multiple other stores and helps them out too. He deals with multiple vendors in a day. I could never tell him any of that though because then he would just pick on me. Lol

Mine is such an integral part of why our store works...we're lost without him. But yes, considered a tl. Went to ae17 meeting, etc.

PMTs are senior TL level positions, and they ARE considered a TL in the building. A PMT can coach and could issue CCAs if necessary. I've had a PMT write up a TM for damaging the dock door.

Most PMTs I've seen are in their 60s and took the job after retiring from their old job. But yes they are considered TLs. Just like APS is considered a TL.

Mine is my age, so mid thirties. He spends a third of his day managing the cleaning crew and vendors, if not more. He's underpaid for the amount he gets done. Plus he cleans when they just can't send a cleaner to cover a nc/ns.

Interesting ours if fresh out of school

My old store had an APTL and an APS. The APS was not a TL

I found out today that certain stores are piloting a setup in which Target Tech is completely responsible for electronics.

The thought is that they are better at selling product than electronic TMs.

That would be really crappy if we outsourced it.

Half the time they're taking care of electronics anyway because the electronics tm is either pushing reshop or doing random crap.

Which is funny, because despite being an E & E store, I feel like I spend a significant portion of my time correcting mistakes that Tech makes or apologizing to guests for something they said that was blatantly inaccurate. I 100% believe that there is not a single person in Tech at my store that could outsell an Electronics TM or out promote an item. But what do I know...

As APS I'm paid more than most TLs. Also I'm allowed to coach TMs. As a SR APS I'm allowed to do interviews for potential TPS positions. I may not have the official title, but in my district APS is treated exactly like a TL.

Whether or not if people see APS as a TL, they are keyed as one (vac accrual, tuition reminbursment, benefits, etc.)

Actually they are not keyed as a TL, I screen shotted that below (see employment category) . They are considered RG employees like bakers.

They are a n13 which is what some tls start at. APTL is n15 20170210_083958.jpg
