As it is now beauty, softlines and electronics TMs are a higher pay grade then the rest of the salesfloor TMs, correct? I remember talking to someone who left flow to work electronics right after we did away w shift differential and he said he'd be making about the same as he was on flow w it. Now that we're all supposed to be dedicated specialists will beauty and electronics be paid the same as someone working pets and chem? Won't they have the same responsibilities?

electronics, beauty, apparel, and food got a pay differential for being end to end. every department will be end to end, including front end, so there won't be a need for a pay differential

So inbound and GM will be bumped up to the Paygrade of beauty, electronics, etc. and everyone across the board will have that be (atleast) $13?

Honestly I don't mind no longer being in a higher pay grade than the others seeing how they'll be expected too to the same amount of work as us

A year or so ago I was approached by our food TL and asked if I would be transferring from inbound over to market. I asked if it'd be just pushing food (which I'd rather do then toys or chemicals) and he said 'oh no, we so everything. Pulls, backstock, audits, etc). I was getting the shift differential at the time so it didn't make sense to move and lose it. Shortly after though we became at 6am store and it went away anyway. Now that we're DBOs and we're responsible for all aspects of our area I was a little confused as to why someone who owns paper would be paid less then someone who owns beauty. But if the bottom is getting a bump up then it makes sense.

As it is now our store starts at $12.75. I assume that beauty is making over $13. Come June I'll be bumped up to whatever they are making now? And for those already making over $13 they should expect no bump?

I never got paid extra for being in electronics because I’m a fossil and was over the starting pay when it began. But it makes sense for everyone to be paid the same now with the elevated expectations, unless you’re plus mobile. They should be paid extra for having to deal with Consumer Cellular customers.

Will Starbucks still get the differential? I feel like they should for what they deal with lol

Beauty at your store is probably making $13.25 using your numbers and the pg35 being Base+0.50. You’ll probably get bumped to $13, but because beauty is higher than that they’ll see no change. Any new beauty members will likely start at $13, not $13.25. In the grand scheme, they’ll only make that extra $0.25 for a year (guessing a year could be sooner or later) until we go up to $14 or $15 minimum which is when they’ll level out.
