Let's get into conspiracy theory territory real quick. How many of us think we have our bosses stalking the forum trying to figure out who is who? How many of us think we've been figured out but don't care because of stickittothemaneosis? I am sure we have unregistered ETLs and TLs who are sniffing around to read the latest Target gossip and to find little hints here and there to see if they can identify anyone. Or maybe they are registered and post in our threads daily. I see some of you guys with ETL under your titles, sneaky bastards! Lmao.

I don't really see any of my ETLs caring except for 2. These guys love to coach people. It like rubs their ego to the point of climax. I'll bet they even coach themselves in front of a mirrir in the morning or even each other in an office somewhere.

Unfortunately the odds are just as good that it could be another TM who outs you, so do keep that in mind when you mention the site.

On the corporate level they don't care about most things but if someone is talking about unionizing and they can pin down who it is...

Of course. I never talk about the site and I would never put myself at risk.

I don't think it matters as long as your are never stating what store your at. I use this website for resources when setting transitions and general help and knowledge. I find things out on here weeks before my etl's get around to talking to me. Since communication is severely lacking

Same. I've had a really similar interaction but it was over the summer. The TM was like "oh sometimes I check the forums." I mentioned that I could be found there. And then we've never mentioned it ever again.

When I joined, I thought I'd stick around until I stole enough info, then never return, so my username is similar enough to my actual name. That paired with my specific stories and complaints would out me super fast. I know another TM knows I'm me. Don't know about etls or tls though.

When I first joined I tried to be really vague about stuff, but recently I've realized I just don't care. The truth is the truth. I'd be willing to stand behind anything I have said/will say on here, and I'm definitely one of the more reliable TMs at my store, so I don't think anyone has much interest in giving me grief over anything.

I'm far from a perfect employee these days, but I mostly do my best given the circumstances.

I mentioned this site to my last STL and my current ETL because it came up in a conversation. I'd give them my username if they asked. I think I've talked shit about that ETL before but that's about it. If she doesn't know that I hate working with her, then that's my fault for being too nice to her face. She probably thinks that I'm the only TL who likes her.

My TL knows my username. She also knows that this is the source of information that she gets from me before hearing anything official. My STL and her joke about my always knowing things (he was super excited one day to tell me about the RFID rollout.. oops). I have no worries about anything I would post, and I know I have a good work relationship with both of them.

These threads come up every once and awhile and some of us like to joke that there are corporate execs or STLs/ETLs shilling and trolling about, but the golden rule is that as long as you don't give too much away there ain't shit any of their nosy lil asses can do about it. As much as these people would like to tell you what you can and cannot do on your time, the fact of the matter is they can't, and I think that's something we should embrace here. I very much doubt anyone has or ever will be fired for the things they say on this website. If it does happen to you, congratulations, you get to be our patient zero. See, there's always a bright side to everything!

I wouldn't be one of those people who talks about the site openly with other coworkers, especially members of leadership. But that's just me.

I know for sure of one TM that posts on here, and there's a few that I know post but I don't know their usernames. Honestly, I'm never concerned about what I post on here because anything I say here I would say right to the people I'm complaining about. My STL could print out my posts and hand them to me and I'd just write the names of who I'm bitching about next to each one. I really don't care.
